America’s Journey for Voting Rights Marches to Raleigh

Larry Cohen reports from the NAACP’s Journey for Justice: Joining one hundred marchers of many faiths and backgrounds, the 15-mile walk on Highway 401 was intense, often fun, and always inspirational. Beginning on August 1, the NAACP Journey for Justice has now covered 700 miles as it approaches the Virginia border. It will conclude with a march and rally in Washington DC on September 15 and 16. Here in North Carolina the focus is on voting rights, as NAACP President Cornell Brooks joins with North Carolina Conference President Rev.
